Carbonate Reservoir Properties Atlas

A Carbonate Reservoir Properties Atlas has been developed showing the relationship between pore types and different reservoir parameters (including porosity, permeability, porosity cut-off, effective porosity, capillary pressures, water saturation and HC contacts). Reservoir parameters can be predicted based on empirical relationships derived from a large global database. These parameters are critical for volume estimation and hydrocarbon flow properties.

The atlas is intended for use during the exploration, field evaluation and field development phases. It opens up for a new way of doing reservoir characterization and modeling.

Trial Account

A free trial account for the Carbonate Reservoir Properties Atlas can be requested from the logon page (last menu item to the right). Trial accounts will only be submitted to company e-mail addresses (no limit on the number of addresses for each company). A trial account gives access to the Atlas for a time-limited period (starting from logon time). The only limitation of the trial account is that equations will be omitted.

When the test period expires you will be automatically logged off. It is recommended to start the trial period when you have sufficient time to do an evaluation.
